Thanks to the Ecovadis monitoring platform, we have begun a path of evaluation with the goal of encouraging employees and suppliers to adopt responsible behaviors in terms of environmental, social, and corporate governance.
To start, we have reduced the number of prints in our offices and replaced old printers with new-generation ones that use biodegradable toners, free of heavy metals.
The advantage is that they can be disposed of sustainably, through composting or recycling, like all the waste produced in our company, which is carefully separated.
In production, we have eliminated the gases used for welding, and thanks to the use of a generator that produces hydrogen gas from deionized water through a process called electrolysis, our welds are Green, and the air is cleaner.
Our products also reflect the company’s policy: the refrigeration units use natural refrigerants, which are an ecological alternative to fluorinated refrigerants. They are non-toxic and have no negative impact on the atmosphere. To package our products, we use materials made from “second life” resources, such as boxes and adhesive tapes, even the Ecopet tape made from recycled PET water bottles.
We believe in clean energy, and by the end of 2025, we will build a photovoltaic solar plant that will allow us to produce the energy we need.
